The whole package!

For the first time I have had the opportunity to encompass all the services Red Raven offers into one project. From architecture to web, including a Google marketing campaign.

The project was to renovate an existing holiday barn, first converted in the mid 80s, to provide an upgraded facility that will be rated 5 stars by the tourist board.

The practical problems that needed resolving were to enlarge the bedroom and make the inside/outside connections stronger. This meant the ground floor - where the bedroom is situated - needed a lot of alteration, but the result was to enable a much larger bedroom with direct access to the garden and the installation of a much needed new bathroom. Upstairs, with its open plan layout, gained a better positioned kitchen and a much stronger link to the garden. An existing window opening was lowered to allow a French balcony to be installed opening up the living area to the adjacent elevated garden.

The result works well, even if I do say so myself, and I’d thoroughly recommend a holiday there. Make a booking now – http://www.lakelandbarn.co.uk/.
